  • As well as penning the first two singles from Home - "Am I The Only One" and the title song, Bentley also wrote four other tracks including this father's love letter to his two little daughters. The older of his girls, 3-year-old, Evie, sings the final words: "Daddy's home." Bentley's Mix engineer, Luke Wooten, took the audio from a birthday video. "Luke ended up putting it on the record. Normally I'd be hesitant about something like that, but it felt like it was natural," the singer explained to Billboard magazine.
  • The video of Evie's singing was sent to Bentley when an opportunity to perform at a White House came up which coincided with his birthday. The singer was alone in his hotel room when he got an email. He explained to The Boot: "My wife and one of my producers had teamed together to get Evie singing this song, 'Thinking of You,' on video and sent it to me as a birthday present."

He added that it was, "the saddest birthday present of all time. It just killed me. It just hurt. I loved it, as painful as it was. They had a recorded version of it, which I assume they thought I wouldn't go for [putting it on the new album] because I've never really sung songs about kids or any of that stuff. But I heard it and the last word she says on there is 'home,' which goes back to the first word you read on the album cover."
