Songfacts®:

  • Dispatch's vocalist and guitarist, Chad Urmston, told us this was one of his favorite tracks from Circles Around the Sun: "I like 'Never or Now' quite a bit. It rolls quite easy, like a lazy river and sounds a bit like songs from the 50s."
  • Circles Around the Sun marked Dispatch's first album since Who Are We Living For? in 2000. Despite this 12 year gap, Urmston told us he didn't think there was a significant sonic difference between the two albums: "I'd say there's a bigger difference in our first (Silent Steeples) to third album (Four-Day Trials) than there is our fourth (Who Are We Living For?) to our fifth (Circles Around the Sun)."
