  • This song finds guest vocalist Bipolar Sunshine reflecting on his relationship with his lover.

I hope that I can turn back the time
To make it all alright, all alright for us
I'll promise to build a new world for us two
    With you in the middle

He is sorry for the way he's hurt her and promises to focus on her more.

Bipolar Sunshine told USA Today that the song was "inspired by a massive argument with my girlfriend (and) the lyrics just rolled off the tongue. It took one evening of dilemma and four hours in the studio to finish the song."
  • British singer-songwriter Bipolar Sunshine (birth name Adio Marchant) was previously the co-vocalist with the Manchester band Kid British. He embarked on a solo career in 2013.

Marchant's stage name "means or gives me license to try any genre without feeling constricted — allowing myself to flip between styles has always been my goal. The sunshine offers you light at the end of the tunnel. That sentiment is always the main thread in my songs."
  • The song's music video stars The Hunger Games' Josh Hutcherson as a lonely and misunderstood masked superhero. We see him find himself a fellow high-flying companion played by actress Kiersey Clemons who is best known for her role as Diggy in the film Dope. She also appeared in Lady Gaga's visual for "Til It Happens To You."
