Songfacts®:

  • Lynch sings about cruising around his hometown of Tullahoma, Tennessee on this cut, which he co-wrote with Justin Weaver and Kelly Archer. The singer told The Boot that it took the trio several attempts before they finally cracked the song. "The phrasing is something we strive to get when we write a song and it took us four meetings to get the song written," he explained. "It wasn't until the last one that I came up with the hooky [sings] 'oh oh' part. We always had the blueprint of what the song would be about because Kelly is from Canada, Justin is from Georgia and I'm from Tullahoma, and we all knew about the song. We just had to find the 'x' factor, if you will, to make it a song worth recording."
  • Lynch's phrasing on this song has an element of Hip-Hop. He told The Boot: "It's one of those moments on the record where if people know me from 'Cowboys and Angels,' they're going to go, "Whoa, he can go there, too." For me, that's where record has to go if you're going to listen to a guy from top to bottom. You've got to take somebody somewhere else."
