  • In 2005 Edwyn Collins was hospitalized following a double brain hemorrhage that resulted in aphasia; the singer subsequently underwent a long rehabilitation period.

Collins sings on this gentle guitar ballad about having finally found contentment in his life. He told Uncut magazine: "The song opens with a little thrush singing outside the studio. Essentially that track is a celebration of happiness. Before I had my stroke I used to get very bad headaches and I used to get a bit depressed. That has completely gone now."
