Songfacts®:

  • Elastica frontwoman Justine Frischmann wrote this tribute to the band's beloved bassist, Annie Holland. She was helped by Jane Olliver, the former girlfriend of Blur's Graham Coxon. Holland told Uncut:

"The band came to stay for a weekend in Brighton, along with Jane Olliver who helped write the song. We had a really great time, and when I got back home later, that song was their thank-you message on my answerphone."
