Songfacts®:

  • The opening track and title song of Employed To Serve's third album is an encouragement to those who are struggling with life. Vocalist Justine Jones explained to Kerrang:

"It's about the idea that time constantly moves forward, but seeing that as a positive thing. No matter what situation you're in right now, there's always a forward movement and things will always pass.

We wanted to start the album as we meant to go on, and this is a very defining track on the record. It's a pretty anthemic start as well - we wanted people to get on board from the very beginning."
