  • June 25, 1997
  • Faye Webster is a singer-songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia. While her early work leaned towards alt-country, she's since woven in elements of indie folk, R&B, soft rock, and even pop.
  • Music runs in Faye's family. Her grandfather was a bluegrass guitarist, her mom played guitar and fiddle, and her brother was in a high school rock band.
  • Faye wasn't waiting around. She started writing music by 14 and self-released her debut album, Run and Tell, at the young age of 16.
  • Faye enrolled in Nashville's Belmont University to hone her songwriting skills, but didn't stay long. She found the traditional route wasn't for her and returned to Atlanta to pursue music on her own terms.
  • Faye Webster signed to the Secretly Canadian record label in late 2018 and released her third full-length album, Atlanta Millionaires Club, in May 2019. The album garnered critical acclaim and found a place on numerous year-end lists from various media sources.
  • "Better Distractions," a track from Webster's fourth album, I Know I'm Funny Haha, was listed by President Barack Obama as one of his favorite songs of 2020.
  • In a 2022 video interview with Noisey, Webster said that while on tour, she enjoys unwinding by catching Pokemon on the mobile game Pokemon Go. She also revealed a surprising passion for yo-yos! Faye collects them and has attended the World Yo-Yo Contest.
  • Faye Webster is a huge Atlanta Braves fan. She's so passionate that she would even skip school to catch a game and regularly sports their jerseys. She even wrote a song, "A Dream With a Baseball Player" (track nine on I Know I'm Funny Haha), inspired by a crush on Braves outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. And she got to sing the national anthem at a Braves game.
