Songfacts®:

  • This song, along with the rest of the album was written in difficult circumstances following the tragic loss of the band's drummer, Jon Lee, who committed suicide.
  • Frontman Grant Nicholas (from Kerrang! magazine June 21, 2008): "This was the last one I wrote for the album and, I think, the best one on it. Sometimes, in England, people can really get behind someone who has been through hell. But I didn't want people to like us for that reason, I didn't want the sympathy vote because I wanted people to hear what a good album we had written. I think that happened in the end."
  • The song's video was at one point the second most played video on MTV UK during 2003. It won the 2003 IMA (Interactive Music Award) for Best Music Video Online.
