  • After blasting an ex who said bad things behind her back on "Abcdefu," Gayle follows it up with another kiss-off song. Again, a boy has screwed her over, but this time she's venting about a platonic chum.

You don't wanna be my friend
You just wanna see me naked again

When their platonic friendship turned sexual, Gayle noticed her male pal started treating her differently. He started telling small, subtle lies, and she realized their friendship had just been a grand scheme to get in her pants.
  • Gayle's friend's manipulations had hurt her, so they talked it over. She penned this song after seeing through the boy's protestations that he'd changed; rather than wanting friendship, the guy is horny and just wants to sleep with her. "I wrote 'ur just horny' when I was at a breaking point with a long-term friendship," the Texan singer told Apple Music. "I never knew that I could be angry at this person, so when it happened, it was a lot for me to process. If people have ever taken advantage of your friendship just to get in your pants, this is the song you can get angry about it to."
  • Though angry with the boy, Gayle admits being mates with someone of the opposite sex can get complicated. "It's hard to separate platonic, romantic, and sexual feelings, and sometimes in friendships, the lines can get blurry," she said.
  • Gayle penned "Ur Just Horny" with her "Abcdefu" co-writer Sara Davis and with Daniel "Daylight" Kyriakides (Shawn Mendes' "Stitches" and "Mercy").
  • Daylight also-co-produced the song with Pete Nappi, the man behind the boards on "Abcdefu." Their production features a similar pop-rock sound to her previous single.
