  • This deep-house cut features vocals by Jennifer Hudson. Speaking to MTV News, Matt Robson-Scott revealed his surprise when we saw the American songstress' name attached to the song on the track list. "I don't know how that happened!" he joked. "I think it's because we'd been doing some stuff in America and we've got some publishers out there called Tim and Danny who work with a lot of really big American artists, like I think they work with Rihanna and people like that."

Gorgon City also collaborated with Hudson on her JHUD album track "I Still Love You."
  • The song was co-written by "Hideaway" singer-songwriter Kiesza. Gorgon City recalled to Q magazine: "We met Kiesza when we were supporting Rudimental in Brixton. We had heard 'Hideaway' and loved it, this was a while before it hit radio but you could tell it was a smasher. We got her in the studio and wrote 'Go All Night' in one day."
  • The song's music clip is set in a New York club. Jennifer Hudson said: "This video is such a throwback to where it all began for me. I was so in my element during production that I kept forgetting we were filming because it took me back to the days when I would dress up and perform at the gay clubs in Chicago."

"This song has that '90s feel but the guys of Gorgon City really made it more relevant than ever," she added. "It reminded me of Whitney, with that feel good beat that made you want to get up and throw your arms out. That was one of the things that drew me in right away- that feeling will never go out of style."
