  • After "Any Old Iron?" and his signature tune "I'm Henery The VIII, I Am", this was probably Harry Champion's most famous song, and certainly the best known of his food songs.

    According to Brian Rust in British Music Hall On Record, it was recorded with "Any Old Iron" for HMV on October 29, 1935 with the London Palladium Orchestra. This was rather late in Champion's career, his first recording was as early as 1912 on Zonophone; the song was written by Fred Murray and Charles Collins. >>>

I'm enquiring, as I'm in the throws of writing a book and would like to mention the song title and artist only, as I'm not planning on citing any of the lyrics, and was wondering if I need to seek written permission from the copyright owners to do so.
