  • This was the opening number of the High School Musical 3 film. It takes place during the State Championship basketball game between West High Knights and East High Wildcats.
  • The song was produced and co-written by Canadian producer and songwriter Matthew Gerrard. Among his other writing credits are "Breakaway" for Kelly Clarkson plus "We're All In This Together," "What Time Is It?" and "I Want It All" for the High School Musical franchise. The other songwriter was Gerrard's frequent collaborator Robbie Nevil, who back in 1986 had an international hit with his own recording "C'est La Vie." Among his other writing credits are Jordin Sparks' hit "One Step at a Time."
