Songfacts®:

  • Isobel Beardshaw is a British singer-songwriter who records under the name of Izzy Bizu. She got her start after winning an open mic night in Camden, London with a rendition of "Summertime" in February 2013. Superstar producer Naughty Boy happened to be in the audience, and he became her first celebrity fan. Bizu also met one of her cousins for the first time there - who went on to manage her.
  • This was the lead single from Izzy Bizu's first independent EP Coolbeanz. Released on ILUVLIVE Records in September 2013, the disc sold 50,000 copies.
  • Bizu explained the track's meaning to The Sun: "The song is about someone you love who makes you feel carefree and free-spirited."
  • This was a difficult song to complete. Bizu told HMV.com: "We did it acoustically and I was struggling to get the production right, it took a lot of messing around to get it right."
  • Izzy Bizu expanded on the song's meaning to Pop Crush:

"'White Tiger' is about someone that makes your world stop! They jump [then] you jump. All the things you wouldn't usually do, you'd do it and realize their hunger and fearlessness for life is extraordinary and that you needed that without realizing it!"
