• Andrew Lloyd Webber wrote this with American songwriter Diane Warren. Lloyd-Webber told the Mail On Sunday January 25, 2009: "I did approach a couple of British people and both were unavailable. One was a very famous name and Tim Rice didn't want to do it. He said he didn't have the turn of phrase for something like this. Then I thought of Diane. I was staggered when she agreed."
• Lloyd-Webber told the Mail On Sunday January 25, 2009 that he and Warren wrote this in "just two hours." He added: "'It would be good to say it took us a whole week of much agony and rewriting, but it didn't,' he says. 'Once we got the idea we wrote it extremely quickly. I'd had an idea for it and I played Diane what I thought was the chorus. She said, "No, I don't think you've got a chorus, I think it's a verse." I thought, 'Oh dear, this is a bad start.' But once I got over that we had pretty much done it. So the whole thing took about two hours."
• At the age of 12, Ewen played the part of Nala in The Lion King in London's West End. Coincidentally, Javine Hylton, who represented Great Britain at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest, also played the part of Nala in the West End production of The Lion King.
• This came 5th in the Eurovision Song Contest, the best finish by a UK entry in the competition for seven years and a major improvement on the last place position of "Even If" in 2008.
• Andrew Lloyd-Webber played piano during Ewen's Eurovision performance.
• Lloyd Webber donated his share of the royalties to the BBC's Performing Arts Fund. The fund is a charity dedicated to helping aspiring musicians and performers.
