After winning The UK version of X Factor in 2012, James Arthur struggled to deal with the limelight. The singer found himself in a dark place, suffering depression and anxiety that led to panic attacks. On top of this, Arthur made several controversial remarks on social media, which he later regretted, and parted ways with his Syco label. He felt like his dreams were over and he had no purpose in life.

Written by Arthur during that tough time, he recounts on this song how his emotional pain made him feel like he was in a train wreck.

My friend is very suisidal and he listens to this song to help him get through all of this thoughts but when he does listen to it he does end up crying and i feel like there is nothing that i can do to help him anymore but then when i think about what i did to get through my things i then talk to him about it all and he feels better.
