  • James Bay's breakthrough came when her performed this gentle ballad during a gig in a Kentish Town, London pub. A patron filmed Bay’s set, and uploaded it to YouTube where a couple of weeks later his rendition of this song caught the attention of record label Universal Republic's New York office. "That kicked everything off," said Bay. "The label flew me over to New York a week later, and I met everybody and ended up signing with them on the spot. It was like they were in that tiny club with me even though they were thousands of miles away."
