Songfacts®:

  • This is the title track from English hip hop artist Jamie T (aka Jamie Treays)' EP and also the second single from his sophomore album, Kings and Queens.
  • Treays told The Daily Telegraph September 2, 2009 that this song was so named because, in its early stages of construction, it superficially sounded to him like the Nineties' hit-making Jamaican dancehall revivalists, Chaka Demus & Pliers. He added that its beat, he says, comes from a much-sampled rhythm track. Treays shrugged: "It's only a drum beat. I know it's been used before, but Quentin Tarantino's been stealing from other films for years, and he gets away with it [with a pretentious lisp] It's postmodernism!"
  • The music video, which was directed by Julian Fletcher and Dan Henshaw, was inspired by the Burt Reynolds comedy movie Cannonball Run.
