Songfacts®:

  • Jessie sings on this cod-reggae tune, "I live my life like every day is the last." The lyric was inspired by the singer's health problems. She told Now Magazine: "At 11 I was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat," she said. "I had wires put in my shoulder, groin and heart to try and zap it to a normal rhythm, but it didn't really work. Then, at 18, I suffered a minor stroke. It was scary, but I'm fine now. Having bad health has made me realize I can't take anything for granted and I must look after my body."
  • The message of the song is about standing up for love and reaching for the stars. Said Jessie to The Sun: "Every lyric in this song is what I live my life by. I had the title tattooed on my wrist on the 31st of December 2009. It's one of the originals. So glad it made the album."
