Songfacts®:

  • This strip club anthem was the first solo single by Juicy J to chart in the Billboard Hot 100. He'd previously featured several times on the tally as a member of the hip-hop group Three Six Mafia. Asked by Artist Direct if he knew straight away that the track would take off, Juicy replied: "I never call a song a hit until it's a hit. I knew it was a good record. It was strong, and I thought it could be a single. I wasn't trying to press it. I just put it out online, and it got hot. That was it."
  • Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz join Juicy on this joint. When the song debuted at #71 on the September 29, 2012 Hot 100, Weezy tied level with Elvis Presley for the most Hot 100 appearances (108) among men.
  • Mike Will Made It provided the spaced out synth beat. The song appears on the producer's mixtape, Est. In 1989 Pt 2.
  • As well as Juicy J, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz and a number of strippers, the song's music video also features six members of the Miami Northwestern High School's marching band. However, the band members were not informed that their performance would be integrated into such an explicit clip. The spokesman for the Miami-Dade County Public School, John Schuster, expressed his concern to The Miami Herald that the high school students were deceived about the nature of their performance. "It's just outrageous to think you have an individual take advantage of a school and students for a video," he said. "They're playing their instruments and thinking it's something innocent, wearing our uniforms, only later to find out they edited the video with racy content."
  • Ironically, considering Juicy's lyrics about the effectiveness of thousand-dollar rolls, the song was actually laid down on the cheap. "I actually recorded it on a hundred-dollar microphone," the Memphis MC told MTV News. "I made the song in a two-bedroom apartment in D.C. not knowing what it was gonna do or what was gonna happen with it. I put it out on Twitter and here we are today, real talk."
