Songfacts®:

  • "Worldwide Beautiful" is an uplifting song where Kane Brown both sings and speaks about racism and discrimination. The biracial star pleads in the chorus for people to see beyond skin color.

You're missing every color if you're only seeing black and white
Tell me how you're gonna change your mind if your heart's unmovable
We ain't that different from each other from one to another
I Look around and see worldwide beautiful
  • During the second verse, Brown references Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous "I Have a Dream" speech as he calls for listeners to join him.

Coast to coast, city to city
Reach out your hands if you're with me
Still got some work but we still got a dream
Every shade, every heart come together and sing
  • Brown wrote "Worldwide Beautiful" with Shy Carter, Ryan Hurd and Jordan Schmidt in 2019 and held onto it for over a year. He released it on June 4, 2020 during a time of civil unrest following the killing of African-American George Floyd by a white policeman. Brown felt it's a song "needed during this time."
  • Some proceeds from the unifying song are being donated to the Boys and Girls Club of America (BGCA), which advocates for justice and equality for young people and provides them with healthy activities. Brown has supported the charity throughout his career.
  • "Worldwide Beautiful" shares its name with Brown's world tour, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Kane Brown live-debuted "Worldwide Beautiful" on June 28, 2020 at the BET Awards. Brown performed the song with his band in an audience-less Ryman Auditorium in Nashville due to COVID-19 quarantine.
  • The video shows children of all races playing together on a deserted main street surrounded by burning cars and graffiti. Their love transforms the thoroughfare into a beautiful garden. The clip ends with Kane Brown holding his 11-month-old daughter, Kingsley, surrounded by all the other children in the blooming garden.
