Songfacts®:

  • This is a track from Kanye West's "G.O.O.D. Friday" series, in which the Chicago MC released a new tune to download for free every Friday.
  • The song finds West name checking various modeling luminaries to keep his broken heart distracted. However the ploy doesn't work as G.O.O.D. Music signee John Legend notes on the chorus, "All of these girls at my shows / They loving me but I don't know / Why I keep calling / Why I keep calling you." Legend's record label colleagues Kid Cudi, and Pusha T also spit some verses along with G. Unit member Lloyd Banks and R&B singer Ryan Leslie.
  • Among the fashion-industry names that West shouts out to on this track are '90s supermodel Veronica Webb, Dutch Victoria Secret Angel Doutzen Kroes and Canadian star model Coco Rocha.
  • Christian Dior (1905-57) first began to design clothes in 1935. After working for Piguet and Lelong, he founded his own Paris house in 1945. Two years later he achieved worldwide fame with his long-skirted 'New Look'. Because of Dior, out went post war fashion rations and in came masses of material, designed to suit a curvy hour-glass figure.
