Songfacts®:

  • This number about figuring out who you are along the way was the theme song for the reality TV series Fight Girls, which aired on the Oxygen network in 2007. The show followed 10 female fighters who lived together and trained in Las Vegas for six weeks, competing for the chance to fight for a Muay Thai championship in Thailand. Two of the fighters became notables in the UFC: Felice Herrig and Michelle Waterson.
  • Perry wrote this song with Greg Wells (Mika, Natasha Bedingfield), who also produced it. Wells also worked with Perry on her songs "Waking Up In Vegas" and "Ur So Gay."
  • The full version of the song appeared on Perry's debut pop album, One Of The Boys, in 2008. In a previous life, she was gospel singer Katy Hudson (her real name). The big hits from One Of The Boys were "I Kissed a Girl" and "Hot n Cold."
