Songfacts®:

  • This uptempo jam is the third single by R&B singer Keri Hilson from her second studio album No Boys Allowed. The song features Miami rapper Rick Ross and was produced by Polow Da Don.
  • The song's music video marks the directorial debut of choreographer Laurieann Gibson. Have a go at playing spot the celebrity when watching the clip - amongst the music artists who make cameo appearances in addition to Rick Ross and Polow are JoJo, Faith Evans and Lloyd.
  • Hilson addressed the song and its steamy video in a live-stream interview with Perez Hilton. The singer said the sentiment reflected in the song is exactly what her girls are apt to shout behind closed doors: "I don't want to make love tonight. Just f--- me, please!" She added, "I'm a freak, it's no surprise. I've been a freak on other songs ... and other videos."

Hilson went on to explain that while her other songs such as "Pretty Girl Rock" show one side of a woman, she attempted to show the many different moods and shifting desires a female has on this cut. "Perez, I don't want to be held and caressed every night. ... I'm talking about one man in the relationship. I'm not talking about being a slut and a whore," she said, before admitting, "It is racy."
  • The chanting of "f--k me, f--k me" on the chorus of the single release was replaced by a clean version on No Boys Allowed.
