Songfacts®:

  • Kids See Ghosts is a hip-hop duo comprising Kanye West and Kid Cudi. This track from their self-titled debut album finds the duo brushing off criticism from their detractors.

Never late, pull up a seat and come grab a plate
Check the date, let 'em hate
This the type s--t that they couldn't make, watch the fakes
Leave 'em buzzin', thought they wasn't, huh?
Tell all your kinfolk and cousins, huh?
This is the package you ordered, huh?
    Beautiful madness

Instead of caring about the haters that judge them for their alleged mistakes, Kanye and Cudi choose to rise above them.
  • The song features co-production by André 3000. The Outkast rapper has worked with both West and Cudi in the past, singing background vocals on Kanye's The Life of Pablo track "30 Hours" and spitting rhymes on two of Cudi's Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin' cuts "By Design," and "The Guide".
Also, both Yeezy and André guested on Beyoncé's 2011 tune "Party."
