Songfacts®:

  • Lyrically, the song pays homage to the band's fans in the United Kingdom, where Kings of Leon have traditionally enjoyed more success than in their native United States: "All of London sing, 'cause England swings and they sure love the tales I bring." >>>

    Jackson - Koala Beach, Australia
  • This was released as the second single from Because of the Times. Lead vocalist Caleb Followill told Mojo magazine July 2009 that the record company wanted to make this the lead single, "but I was scared; We're gonna come out of the gate with an acoustic song!" Caleb added that this, "is one of the songs where I felt the potential of the melody. The first time I strummed the chords and sang, 'Rock to the rhythm and bop to the beat of radio,' I thought, 'Man, that's one of the coolest lyrics I've ever heard. I'm proud of that song."
