Songfacts®:

  • This is about how lead singer Jonathan Davis feels when he's on stage performing. He says that he's happy because playing music for his fans is what helps him feel better for the hour and a half that he performs. After that he goes back to being miserable again but it just feels so good to have his pain go away for that short time. >>

  • Davis elaborates on the meaning: "'Beg For Me' is more of an angry thing because the whole thing for 'Beg For Me' is the crowd. The only time I was good on tour was when I walked up onstage and that's what the song is about. Feeling wanted is something one thing I've always needed. I was shuffled around so much when I was a kid...being up onstage was the only point was the only time when my anxiety would go away for an hour." >>

  • Dreadlockd Warlock from Frisco, TxAs you said at the end of this song Jonathan, us fans will always “be there for” you, well at least I know I will.
  • Zero from Nowhere, NjDoes anybody know how Munky (or Head) got to make that Bass-Synth type sound with their guitar?
  • April from Houston, TxI have read many interviews of Jonathan Davis talking about the album Issues. He states that he was going through a lot of problems in his head and the album was a way of dealing with them by putting it down on paper and getting it out of his system by making the album.A quote he made regarding the album Issues is "Issues deal with the issues I had, the fears I had and it isn't a 'nice' album but fears and depression are not particularly nice." One good website to get quotes and other information about Jonathan Davis (and other famous people) is: http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/j/jonathan_davis. That is the website I got the above quote.
  • J from Gp, TxThis song was on Issues. Issues was Korns last good album in many fans eyes. I think after this Jon was starting to change and so was the band. The band changed a little too much. The new untitled album just doesn't sound much like Korn. Head needs to come back into the band.
  • Max from New York, NyThere are actually two seperate sheets for the verses. The band performed it live numerous times differently then the later recorded version on Issues.
