Songfacts®:

  • Kylie wrote this disco-tinged track about adapting to a winter Christmas in the UK after being raised in Australia, where the festivities take place during the summer. It was inspired by Donna Summer's late '70s and early '80s disco tunes.
  • The song was co-written and produced by the Biffco team, whose previous contributions to Kylie's catalogue include "In My Arms," "In Your Eyes" and "Love At First Sight." The production trio have also worked with the likes of Little Mix, Leona Lewis and Ellie Goulding.
  • This is a duet with Kylie's sister Dannii, who said of the track: "There's not enough party Christmas songs, everyone has Christmas parties, but what music do you put on? This song is perfect for dancing to."
  • The Minogue sisters sang the song on The X Factor Australia on November 24, 2015 . It was the pair's first televised performance together in twenty-nine years since their rendition of "Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves" on Young Talent Time in 1986.
