Songfacts®:

  • This is the second single by Australian dance-pop singer Kylie Minogue, from her eleventh studio album, titled Aphrodite. The song was written by Lucas Secon, Cutfather and Damon Sharpe and wasn't written for any particular artist. Secon told HitQuarters: "We had four different artists who wanted to cut it as their first singles. It wasn't aimed specifically at her. It was just a good dance record, but obviously, it fitted into what she wanted to do. I just do tracks and whatever happens to fit, fits."
  • Secon, who has worked with a diverse group of artists including Mos Def, Damian Marley, The Pussycat Dolls and Rivers Cuomo described the track as, "sexy electro disco with some clever lyrics and some real catchy melodies."
  • Kylie told PopEater the song is "pure pop dance and that's what I'm all about. The energy is really infectious. I think it's a great song and I'm thrilled that I got to record it."

She added: "I like the defiance in the song. It's also got a bit of a wink of the eye at the same time."
  • This was Kylie's fifth #1 on the Billboard Club Chart and her second consecutive chart-topping Billboard Club single, following "All The Lovers."
