Songfacts®:

  • Lady Gaga explained on her website: "I wanted to write the female version of Motley Crue's 'Girls, Girls, Girls,' but with my own twist. I wanted to write a pop song that rockers would like."
  • This was the first song that Lady Gaga wrote with her frequent collaborator, RedOne. The Moroccan/Swedish producer told MTV News that before he met with Gaga, he had decided he no longer wanted to work with unsigned artists, however the young New Yorker was different. He recalled: "I went and met with her, and then we started talking David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, all of that. We went into the studio. We wrote 'Boys Boys Boys.' The rest is history."
  • "Boys Boys Boys" is part of Lady Gaga's debut album, The Fame. She performed it on her first two tours, which ran 2009-2011.

  • Lilyibanez from Los Angeles, Capersonally, I prefer girls girls girls, motley crue is way better than this poser.."rockers" is a steriotype. basically, ppl who like rock are real and just enjoy the music and not all the crud that comes along with it.
  • Jacqueline from Warren, Australiaboys can be boys so let them be boys and sexy ones at that
  • Violet from Indianapolis, InShe is such a genius when she writes her songs. Great catchy music, fun, ear catching words and phrases. Shes rolling to her own beat in her head and does it with confidence! She makes no apologies for anything she does. She doesnt sound like anything or anyone before her or on the radio currently and thats why people love her! No one wants to hear the same ol boring crap we've heard a million times before or some cover of some previous great song. Yeah, shes a slave to fashion, sometimes it gets a little redicules, but if thats whats inspiring her to write these great songs... all i've got to say is "wear that kermit top girl!" Love her to pieces!
