Songfacts®:

  • The lead single from Lenka's fifth album, Attune, "Heal" finds the Australian singer ready to compromise in order to save a friendship. "It is inspired by a difficult situation I was having with a female friend where we really had to resolve conflict in a peaceful way to move forward and save our friendship," Lenka said. "It's about the struggle against the fighter we all have inside us to find a gentle, humble peaceful resolution in human relationships."
  • Lenka wrote this with Sally Seltmann, an Australian singer-songwriter and producer, who is best known for co-writing Feist's "1234."
