Songfacts®:

  • This mid-tempo ballad starts off with a organ-based introduction similar to that used in Lewis's debut single "Bleeding Love."
  • The song was written by Bonnie McKee, who has co-penned several of Katy Perry's singles, and also by hitmaking producer Lukasz "Dr Luke" Gottwald, who won the Songwriter of the Year Award at the 2010 and 2011 (ASCAP) Pop Music Awards. The third songwriter is Ammo, who was signed to Dr. Luke's publishing company and has credits on songs by Kesha and Adam Lambert.
  • This was released as the second single from Glassheart, but it failed to register on the top 200 of UK's official singles chart.
