Songfacts®:

  • Lil Durk declares on this Young Chop produced song that he feels like he has super powers after sipping off his lean. "It's about how I remember the nights I'd kill myself, but now I've got thoughts just to be the best," he told Billboard magazine.
  • Durk recalled the story of the Young Chop produced track:

"The vibe was so crazy, in a good way, when I made this song. I had just moved to Los Angeles. Young Chop and his mom (RIP Momma Chop!) had stopped by my house to visit. Chop was moving at the time so he had his equipment in the car. We start talking about music and he told me how he wasn't really making beats anymore and that he was rapping more. I convinced him to go to car and get his equipment. He made the 'Super Powers' track that day from scratch then I just laid the track later on that night."
