"Ultimate" plays at the end of the 2003 Disney movie Freaky Friday, where Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis play a daughter and mother who switch bodies. "Ultimate" was Lindsay Lohan's singing debut. She had been acting for years, notably playing both twins in the 1998 movie The Parent Trap. She issued albums in 2004 and 2005, a time when she was busy starring in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Mean Girls and Herbie: Fully Loaded. She didn't have any big hits but her debut album sold over a million copies in America.

Lohan's personal and professional life took a downturn in 2007 when she became a tabloid fixture who seemed to court chaos. She got her life back together around 2014 and remained a notable actress, but music was clearly secondary - she didn't release any more albums and recorded just occasionally.
Lohan doesn't play guitar, but she did learn all the chords to this song so she could perform it for the film.
A new version of "Ultimate" with altered lyrics plays at the end of Freakier Friday, the 2025 sequel to Freaky Friday with Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis reprising their roles. This version is by the Canadian rock band The Beaches, and appears on the soundtrack. Lohan recorded a song called "Baby" that was used in the movie.

Jailene from K-town, WaI do like this song, a lot, and it's funny, cuz my boyfriend or my ex boyfriend or the guy-I'm-taking-a-break-from or whatever even likes the song and sometimes late at night we'll be talking and then we'll start singing this song and it makes me crack up every time. But yeah, it's a good song, and I like the lyrics. These lyrics remind me of the guy I mentioned earlier, and they still do. SO...yay song! ^^

second, she didnt play it because if she did her hand wouldnt be moving during a bend or a hold
third, she didnt play it because if she did, on single notes and solos she wouldnt be using her hand, she'd be using her fingers
fourth, she didnt play it because if she did she'd be striking the strings at the right times, not just up and down randomly
