Songfacts®:

  • The title track of Electro Pop duo LMFAO's second album, this was released as its fourth single on January 17, 2012 after becoming a crowd favorite.
  • The LMFAO duo penned the song with Erin Beck, who is a member of the LMFAO crew. She also co-wrote "Sexy And I Know It," plus the Sorry For Party Rocking international edition tracks, "Reminds Me of U" and "Hot Dog." Beck also manages the duo's merchandising and sales on tour.
  • The group played this song on the live national television broadcast of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve on December 31, 2011.
  • According to LMFAO they originally planned to perform under the name Sexy Dudes, but wisely changed it due to family advice.
  • The song's music video was directed by previous collaborator Mickey Finnegan (he worked with the LMFAO guys on their clips for "Party Rock Anthem" and "Sexy and I Know It.") It finds the pair hosting a noisy house party, which keeps on raging and the visual features cameos from several famous names, including actor David Hasselhoff and singer and dancer Chelsea Korka. The video ends with Christopher "Kid" Reid of '90s House Party duo Kid 'n Play banging down the duo's door.
