• This song, which LoCash's Preston Brust and Chris Lucas wrote with Tyler Hubbard and Corey Crowder, reflects the duo's dependence on each other throughout their careers. "You could just feel the brotherhood in the room," Brust recalled to The Boot of the session that spawned the song. "We were like, 'Man, has anybody ever written a song about dudes just feeling like family: getting each other's backs, calling each other out, being there for each other?'"
• The title Brothers not only speaks to the bond between Preston Brust and Chris Lucas, but also to relationships they believe everyone should have with each other. Lucas recalled that when his wife listened to the whole album, she said that "Brothers" is her favorite track. The fact that the females are getting that perspective too, is exactly what they wanted. "At the end of the day, we are all brothers and sisters," he reflected. "We've all seen our share of sunshine and rain. I know Preston and I certainly have."
• The theme that ultimately became the album's title was sparked by the recording of Brothers' closing track the "bromance" song "Beers to Catch Up On." As LoCash crafted the record their aim became to have an overall neighborly sentiment that covered all kinds of friendships and brotherhoods. "In order to get through it all," Lucas said, "we all need to lean on each other. This album is all about recognizing that brotherhood and bringing people together."
