Songfacts®:

  • LoCash's Preston Brust and Chris Lucas wrote this in the back of their touring bus with the help of some liquid refreshment. "I really got drunk that night," Lucas recalled to The Boot. "We got postponed because it rained out the show. Somebody booked the show in Massachusetts in February, and there was snow outside. Whoever did it, it didn't work. So when I get drunk, I can have three and get a little drunk. Preston has the same amount as me, , he gets 'drunk drunk.'"

"Sometimes you just don't want to think about writing a song, and it comes out when you're when you're drunk," he continued. "The next day, you wake up, you play it live, people like it, the label ends up liking it, and here it is."
