Songfacts®:

  • Logic's first ever collaboration with Eminem is a rapid-fire rhyme-fest in which both MCs exhibit their fast flows. The ferocious cut finds Logic and Em throwing some jabs at some rappers. Logic kicks off the first verse by spitting:

I'm foamin' out the mouth, ain't nobody takin' me out
Every single rapper in the industry, yeah, they know what I'm about

Over the course of the song the pair call out rappers who cheat by using Auto-Tune and lyrical fakers who don't write their own rhymes.
  • During the hook Logic likens the speed of his raps to that of a semiautomatic gun. He threatens other rappers that he is coming after them and their families with his weapon.
  • The song title does not feature in the lyrics but is likely a reference to Logic and Eminem's rat-a-tat slaying of other MCs during their rhymes.
  • The two rappers likely conceived the idea for the track when Logic opened for Emimen at a concert at Hawaii's Aloha Stadium on February 15, 2019.
  • The track ends with a sample of comedian Chris D'Elia's video in which he parodies Eminem's flow. Shot in his driveway in September 2018, D'Elia's spoof clip quickly became a viral sensation.
  • The James Larese-directed video begins with Logic receiving a voicemail from Def Jam Records CEO Paul Rosenberg informing the rapper that Eminem won't be able to make it to the video shoot. Logic is persuaded to shoot an alternate visual in which Chauncey Leopardi, a.k.a. Michael "Squints" Palledorous from The Sandlot, plays him, and Chris D'Elia portrays Eminem. Em does in fact make an appearance later in the video, mocking Chris D'Elia's impersonation of him.
