Songfacts®:

  • The lead single to Logic's sophomore album, The Incredible True Story, "Young Jesus" finds him joining forces with his good friend and RattPack crew mate Big Lenbo. The title comes from the name that Lenbo calls himself: "Fat Young Jesus." (According to a Genius annotation, he is "as good as Jesus and as big as heaven".)
  • Did you spot the spelling error where Logic spits "It's me and B-I-G L-N-B-O cooking like chemists"? The rapper admitted: "Funny part is how I don't fully spell his name, but this s--t flowed so well I said f--k it!"
  • There is an interpolation of post punk ESG's 1981 track "U.F.O" and a sample fro James Blake's 2013 song "Take A Fall For Me."
