Songfacts®:

  • Not to be confused with any earlier song of the same title, "Demolition Man" is the first track on the first real studio album by Lucifer's Friend for over 30 years.

Co-written by lead vocalist John Lawton and lead guitarist Peter Hesslein, it runs to around 4 minutes 12 seconds, and is as good a way as any to start an album of this nature, although the question must be asked if at the age of 70 Lawton is not a shade too old to be throwing his weight about, even if he does sound like a man less than half his age. >>>
