Songfacts®:

  • This was inspired by Williams' engagement to her manager/co-producer Tom Overby, whom she met when he was working on her 2007 album West. This song of romantic bliss and devotion is a new topic to Williams, who is best known for her darker hued material. She told the Charleston City Paper: "I feel like the songwriting possibilities are endless really, and I feel like I really kind of broke, kind of graduated, kind of am now in another phase where I can start to explore different subjects."
