Songfacts®:

  • When Mockinjay music curator Lorde originally released the track listing for the movie's soundtrack, the singer-songwriter left a mysterious "Track 5" unnamed, later explaining: "it's just not quite finished." She later tweeted that the now-completed song was "All My Love" by Major Lazer featuring her "sista" Ariana Grande's "angel pipes."
  • Major Lazer is a side project of Philadelphia producer Diplo (Usher's "Climax," Chris Brown's "Look At Me Now"). Lorde and Diplo have worked together in the past, with the American producer remixing the New Zealander's "Tennis Court."
  • The song was written by Grande, Lorde and Danish singer-songwriter MØ, who is the featured vocalist on Iggy Azalea's hit tune "Beg for It." The song was produced by Diplo.
