• The band members wrote "Honey (Are U Coming?)" with songwriters Justin Tranter, Jussifer and Cxloe and producers Rami Yacoub and Sylvester Sivertsen after their North American tour. "We still had a lot of energy from the touring and the traveling," bassist Victoria DeAngelis explained. "We wrote it in between London and LA."

  Chloe "Cxloe" Papandrea is an Australian pop singer from Sydney, New South Wales. Her most successful single, "I Can't Have Nice Things," peaked at #18 in New Zealand in 2019.
• Musically, "Honey" detours from Måneskin's usual vibe, contrasting between the melancholic parts and the song's high-octane, dance energy through a lot of minor riffs and chords. "This musical contrast talks about the inner fear of the unknown and the need of adventure and discovering something new," explained the band. "These feelings are connected to the idea of bringing someone special into a new and magical meeting place, of hope and salvation."
• Director Tommaso Ottomano shot the video in the Gazometro, a decommissioned gasholder in the band's home of Rome.
• Måneskin rocked up the MTV Video Music Awards in 2023, where they performed this song. "The Loneliest" took the award for Best Rock at the ceremony.
