Songfacts®:

  • This is the third single from British band McFly's fifth studio album, Above The Noise. The song was premiered by BBC Radio 2 on January 15, 2011 on Graham Norton's programme and was released on March 6, 2011 via Island Records.
  • The song was written and produced by McFly and US producer Dallas Austin (Madonna, Michael Jackson). It is a departure from the electronic sound featured on the band's previous two singles "Party Girl" and "Shine a Light." A string orchestra accompanies the heartfelt lyrics about honesty and working through problems in relationships.
  • Luke Bellis directed the music video, which shows Dougie Poynter having a meltdown in his room until he is soothed by drops of water coming from the ceiling.
