Songfacts®:

  • Meek Mill hooks up with friend and collaborator Future and Harlem native Dave East on this cut, which pays homage to DMX's 1998 hit song "Slippin." Both tracks deal with the topic of facing and overcoming demons such as drug abuse.
  • This was East's first collaboration with Mill; he admitted to having reservations about the Philly rapper due to his endless beef with Drake. "You know we all on Instagram and Twitter every morning so even if you don't feel a way about a person, when you keep seeing stuff about them you might get like, 'Is he really like that?'" East told Radio.com. "I got a great vibe from him. I got the same vibe that I think I give off–somebody who came from nothing and now they in the position to provide."

"As soon as he loaded up, Future was on the hook already," East added. "There was no verses on it. He said, 'If you got something for this, let's go.' That was major."
