Songfacts®:

  • The main riff and structure of this song is very reminiscent of "Am I Evil?" by Diamond Head, which Dave Mustaine told Artist Direct was intentional. "I called up Brian Tatler from Diamond Head and said, 'Are you cool with me writing this song? It's kind of inspired by 'Am I Evil?'," the Megadeth frontman recalled. "He said, "Oh yeah sure, man!" We're close friends so it was my way of paying tribute to him. It's not exactly the same, but it's close."
  • Mustaine told Artist Direct that this angry song "was specifically at one person." He added: "That song could've had a great opportunity if it wasn't full of so much vitriol."
