Songfacts®:

  • Miles Kane is an English musician who is best known as the co-frontman of The Last Shadow Puppets and former vocalist and lead guitarist of The Rascals. This is the second single from his debut solo album, Color of the Trap.
  • Kane explained to the NME how John Lennon inspired this song: "Initially it had this glam rock beat," he said, it was very Kasabian. But I'd been listening to Plastic Ono Band loads because I love the drum sound, with the tea towel over the snare. So I tried that and it just simplified it, made it more sexy."
  • The official video was directed by Dan Sully and filmed at a studio in North London called the Mile Way club. It features a seedy-looking Kane glaring moodily at model Daisy Lowe, who is a close friend of the musician.
  • Miles Kane is the cousin of James and Ian Skelly of The Coral.
