  • In 2017 Milk Teeth signed to Roadrunner Records and released an EP titled Be Nice. "Prism" is the lead single from the set.
  • The song was inspired by some treachery. Lead singer Becky Blomfield explained to Kerrang:

    "It's lyrically a little bottle of poison. Someone betrayed our trust, and instead of taking to the Internet and causing a mess there, I wrote a song about it instead.

    And it was fun to write the instrumental as it's very bass and drum heavy. I think 'Spit my name out from your mouth,' is also a next level par, so if you're stuck in an argument, whip that one out of your pocket."
