This collaboration between rock group O.A.R. and rapper B.o.B was released for Duracell's "Rely On Cooper to Go For the Gold" initiative in support of the 2012 London Olympic Games. The project allows users to send inspirational messages via Facebook and Twitter to Olympic athletes competing across the Atlantic.
O.A.R. had been working on the song on and off for a year before Duracell contacted them to write a song for the Olympics. Realizing the song's message was a perfect fit for the Games, the band revisited the track and enlisted B.o.B to help out. The Atlanta rapper told Yahoo! Music Canada: "I think the song is very synonymous with challenges that many people face in life even beyond the field, beyond the court and beyond the sports. It's the same place you have to dig from and challenge from when you're an athlete or at an Olympian level."
This is different to B.o.B's "I Am The Champion," which is a track on his 2010 mixtape May 25th.
