  • Speaking on Matt Morgan's Podcast in January 2021, Noel Gallagher said this is the only Liam-penned song he likes. "I thought 'Songbird' by Liam was great," he said. "We did a demo of it and it was more like 'Love Me Do' by The Beatles, It's got a mouth organ on it and it sounds like The Beatles. Then we took all the instruments off it and it became this acoustic thing that I think is perfect."

Gallagher added he can't fathom why Liam doesn't perform "Songbird" at his gigs. "The ironic thing about that song is that he doesn't even f---ing play it now, work that one out. He's only got one tune and that's it, and he's not playing the f---ing tune."

  • Dan from CanadaNoel is lying as usual. He once said that "Born on a Different Cloud" was so good when he first heard it that he had problems believing that Liam wrote it, so, no, "Songbird" is not the only song that he likes from his brother.
  • Justin from MnThere's 3 chords actually - Em, G, and a D/F# chord (D chord with F# as root.) So the progression goes: G, D/F#, Em... then it's reversed: Em, D/F#, G... repeat.
  • Andre from Sao Paulo, BrazilNever realized how a song can be so beautiful!
  • Carley from New Sarepta, AbSuch a happy, up-lifting song =)
